We are stoked! Jutta prepared our Lessing since his arrival at Vollrath so competently that only after two little rides in the roundpen - Lessing had his first "outing" in the 60 x 30m arena.
Jutta is truly "over the moon" and Berny is ever so pleased to have picked such a willing young colt last year.
In the afternoon Lessing served two mares via AI - again a super performance = 150 ml of semen with high motility.
Who needs frozen semen with a guy like him - to us he is unbeatable!

31st Elite Foal and Brood Mares auction August 19th to 21th, 2005
Sensational Result at the 31st Elite Foal and Brood Mare Auction
Three Hanoverian foals sold at more than Euro 50.000,00
Skygate Hit by Sandro Hit/Brentano II (breeder and exhibitor: Michael Schöning, Könnern) was at Euro 75.000.00 the most expensive foal of the 31st Hanoverian Foal and Brood Mare Auction. The well-known breeding and show stable Höftehof in Meppen bought the promising brown colt.
Euro 58.000,00 was the second highest price, paid for the dressage youngster Lawaldo by Lauries Crusadorxx/ Warkant (breeder and exhibitor: Horst Medenwald, Loxstedt). He descends from the same foundation stock than the Celle state stud stallion Londonderry. The new owner is a famous dressage stable from the north-western part of Germany.
State premium mare Winergy by Weltmeyer/Matcho AA (breeder and exhibitor: Axel Windeler, Verden-Walle) was the most expensive mare. She was sold at Euro 36.000,00 to Great Britain.
